Bulk import
Already have a setlist in a spreadsheet?
Download the CSV template — one file for songs, musicians, jams and gigs — fill it in with Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets, and import it back in. New entries are added; songs and musicians you already have are matched by name, never duplicated. Export All Data takes it all back out, your charts included.

Data, sync & privacy
- Where does my data live?
- On your device, first. Rep Jam Gig starts completely empty and stores everything locally — there's no account to create and nothing to configure before you can use it.
- Does it sync between my iPhone and iPad?
- Yes. Whenever the device uses iCloud, your library — charts included — follows you across your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud account, unless you've turned iCloud off for Rep Jam Gig. We never see it. How to check iCloud is on.
- Is there an Android version?
- Yes — Rep Jam Gig is on Google Play, at the same version as the iPhone and iPad app, with the same repertoire, charts, jam, gig and musician tracking. It's a separate app with its own local storage, so an iPhone and an Android device won't share a repertoire with each other. The Android app has no cloud sync of any kind, and its charts are left out of Google's backup — to move a library, use Export All Data on one device and import it on the other. With charts it's one zip: import it on Import / Export, then again on the Calendar tab for your planned sessions.
- Does it ask for any permissions?
- On iPhone and iPad the app asks for one permission, the camera, and only if and when you choose Scan with Camera to add a chart — never when it opens, and for nothing else. If you'd rather not allow it, take a photo of the chart with the Camera app and add it from Photos in the app, which asks for nothing. The Android app asks for no permissions.
